Nephrite is a Homeworld Gem, and an original character created by KJD.

Appearance Edit

Nephrite has an appearance similar to that of other Nephrites, as she is tall and slim with one eye and a green color scheme. Her skin is deep green and she has no eye (with her gemstone acting as an eye), no nose, and defined lips. Her hair is white and is mostly covered by her skullcap, having a plume of hair coming from the back of her head. Her gemstone is located where her eye would otherwise be and is green in color.

She wears a black skullcap, a black and dark green bodysuit with a Yellow Diamond insignia on the chest and tufts of white hair on the shoulders, green and white gloves, and matching boots.

Personality Edit

Nothing is known about Nephrite's personality yet.

Nephrite possesses standard Gem abilities, bubbling, shapeshifting, fusion, regeneration, agelessness, and superhuman strength/durability.

Gemstone Information

  • Nephrite, occasionally called green jade, is a type of jade with the chemical formula Ca2(MgFe)5Si8O22(OH)2.
  • It along with jadeite are what make up the group of the common mineral jade.
  • Nephrite has a very deep green color, being mottled usually and being either translucent or opaque.
  • Because of how it looks it is sought after for jewelry, being carved into things like beads.
  • Nephrite can be found in many countries, those being Australia, Brazil, China, Canada, Russia, Taiwan, Zimbabwe and the United States of America.
  • It has a rating on the Mohs Hardness Scale of 6-6.5, making it a decently strong stone.
  • It is said to be a powerful stone for dreaming, being told to help with having and remembering vivid dreams. It is also said to promote dreaming as a whole.

Nephrite's gemstone is located where her eye is supposed to be and serves as one. It is a green spherical cabochon with a black band-like structure around it which forms an eye-like ring at the front.
