Hackmanite is KJD's interpretation of the fusion of Ruby and Lapis Lazuli.

Appearance[]

Hackmanite has a tall and curvy body with four arms. Her skin is deep plum and she has four small black eyes, a small nose, and undefined lips. She has two pairs of arms, with one pair is thick and come from her shoulders, while another pair comes out of her shoulder blades and are slender. Her gemstones are located on her upper back and upper left palm and are purple.

She wears a purple, black, and bright magenta sleeveless crop top with dark purple shorts, bronze arm bands, and tall bronze sandals.

Nothing is known about Hackmanite's personality yet.

Hackmantite possesses standard Gem abilities, bubbling, shapeshifting, fusion, regeneration, agelessness, and superhuman strength/durability.

Gemstone Information

  • Hackmanite is a very rare mineral with the chemical formula of Na8(Al6Si6O24)Cl2.
  • It is in fact a variety of the mineral sodalite.
  • Under normal lighting hackmanite has a very bright magenta to purple color, however in sunlight its color rapidly fades. This is undone however once removed from sunlight.
  • This effect is known as tenebrescence.
  • Hackmanite, being so rare, is very sparingly used in expensive jewelry.
  • Hackmanite can be found in Afghanistan and Norway, however it was discovered in Greenland.
  • Just like sodalite, hackmanite has the Mohs Hardness Scale rating of 5.5-6.
  • Likely due to its amazing colors, hackmanite is associated with beauty and wonder.
