Bixbite[2] is the hypothetical fusion of Moonstone (and, by extension, Albite and Orthoclase) and Ruby.
Appearance[]
Bixbite has a tall and thin but also muscular body type with four arms. Her skin is raspberry in color and she has two deep fuchsia eyes with black pupils and bushy eyebrows, a sloped nose, and full lips. Her hair is dark pink and is short, being asymmetrical. Her arms come from her shoulders and below and are short and mostly slim. Her gemstones are located on her chest, navel, and upper left palm and are fuchsia in color.
She wears a white, fuchsia, and dark pink bodysuit with dark pink, fuchsia, and yellow arm bands along with dark pink boots with fuchsia tipped toes.
Personality[]
Nothing is known about Bixbite's personality yet. She may act like Bustamite (the fusion of Opal and Ruby)
Abilities[]
Bixbite possesses standard Gem abilities, bubbling, shapeshifting, fusion, regeneration, agelessness, and superhuman strength/durability.
Fusions[]
- When fused with Sapphire, they form Dragon Vein Agate.
- When fused with Sapphire, Amethyst, and Pearl, they form Richterite.
Skillset[]
- Katar Claw Proficiency: Bixbite possesses the ability to combine Albite's partisan, Orthoclase's chakrams, and Ruby’s gauntlet into katar claws, which can be summoned from her gemstones.
Unique Abilities[]
- Thermokinesis: Bixbite can increase temperature and generate heat.
- Telepathy: Bixbite has the ability to connect with another Gems’s mind and sense the Gems nearby, and ability inherited from Albite.
- Night Vision: Bixbite has the ability to see in pitch black with her back eyes.
- Acrobatic Skills: Bixbite can be very agile and flexible in battle.
Trivia[]
- Bixbite's original name was Spinel,[3] but KJD decided to change it.[2] Spinel was later revealed to be the antagonist of Steven Universe: The Movie.
Gemology[]
- Bixbite, also called red emerald or red beryl, is a mineral that has the chemical formula of Be3Al2Si6O18.
- It is a variety of beryl.
- It has a very deep and saturated pink color and is transparent. It does however tend to have lots of inclusions, much more than other types of beryl.
- Unlike other types and varieties of beryl, bixbite is only found in the United States of America, specifically in the Wah Wah mountains in Utah.
- It is used for jewelry, being made into things like rings.
- Also like other varieties of beryl, it has a rating of 7.5-8 on the Mohs Hardness Scale.
- It is said to have calming abilities, being told to help with self esteem and self worth.
